Harbour construction and quays

M.J. Eriksson has a diverse range of experience in the expansion of harbour areas as well as the establishment of quays and terminals, standage areas, jetties, ferry berths, etc.

Harbour and marine construction often entails large, complex projects that require the correct mix of advisers and specialist contractors. M.J. Eriksson has built up a strong and well-established network over the years, and today collaborates with extremely skilled actors in the industry, both in Denmark and abroad. We are thus able to assemble the strongest team available to realise any type of harbour project.

M.J. Eriksson can execute harbour construction as turnkey and main contracts or as a subcontractor, where we typically collaborate with a bigger foreign turnkey contractor, work as part of a consortium or as a joint venture.

For the execution of harbour construction projects, we use employees from our foundation department who are specialists in marine construction. The foundation department also has its own fleet, from which we can undertake large-scale foundation and lifting jobs from the water as well as in open water.
