Drainage and basins

In recent years, Denmark has experienced more extreme rainfall and more frequent cloudbursts, and construction companies and new builds in both the private and public sectors have increased their focus on how to handle the increased amounts of rainwater.

M.J. Eriksson has an extensive body of experience in the execution of drainage systems, and our landscape and construction department has designed and established hundreds of catch basins and LAR (local diversion of rainwater) solutions in connection with our many contracts within infrastructure, site development and climate adaptation.

Our experience of drainage systems covers the excavation of open basins with geomembranes as well as burying closed cement basins. We can carry out all kinds of pipe and well services, establish pumping stations and overflow installations, dig longitudinal trenches, and lay culvert pipes and drainage ditch pipes, including drains on slopes and culverts, drainage of pavement areas and at crossings, etc.
