Two wildlife crossings on Fyn
As part of the widening of the Fynske Motorvej from four to six lanes between Odense Vest, Blommenslyst and westward to Ã…rup, we have tunnelled two wildlife crossings.
The first wildlife crossing was constructed at Gadsbøllevej and the second at Hønnerupvej. The hills in the landscape create a natural funnel here, and at the bottom of these, we tunnelled 60 m and 62 m long wildlife crossings under the motorway, without disrupting the flow of traffic.
